Cinedans LAB presents the intensive two-day SOUND & NARRATIVE Workshop. Han Otten, composer and sound designer for dance films and Nienke Rooijakkers, education manager and talent developer at Cinedans will make you hear (and see) what the impact of sound can be. Masterclass Talks will be interspersed with hands-on assignments.

A good sound score is what really turns a film into a physical experience. How do you do that? How do you integrate sound into the work process early on? And how do you make sure that director, choreographer and composer are speaking the same language? Cinedans LAB’s SOUND & NARRATIVE Workshop is a workshop for choreographers / filmmakers and composers / sound designers alike. 

Han Otten is a composer for films, dance recitals and television. He worked with well known personalities like Boris Paval Conen and Jiří Kylián and Krizstina de Châtel. Nienke Rooijakkers is dramaturge for choreographers and radio creators, and directs sound walks.
