Open Call: Pitch Your Project to NOWNESS

Do you have a dance film project that could use an expert’s eye to elevate it to the next level? Cinedans and NOWNESS invite dance filmmakers to pitch their film ideas and works-in-progress to international industry professionals.

NOWNESS is an award-winning international video channel. They work with both established and emerging filmmakers and their curatorial expertise and award-winning approach to storytelling connect audiences to emotional and sensorial stories. Work that is designed to provoke inspiration and debate.

For the upcoming edition of Cinedans FEST we invited one of the programmers of NOWNESS and other local professionals to offer their expertise and knowledge on the further development of your film idea or plan. One of the presented projects will be selected to receive further consultation from the commissioner of NOWNESS. All presented projects will be considered for a potential premiere on NOWNESS once they’re fully realised.

• Current status of the project and future plans

We will select a maximum of five filmmakers to present their ideas on Sunday 29 March 2020 at 14:45 at IJLounge in EYE Filmmuseum. More details will follow closer to the festival.
