UN-retained is a mapping installation of choreographer Sabine Molenaar in collaboration with multi-media artist Gertjan Biasino and composer Jochem Baelus. Digital techniques like spatial augmented reality enter into an alliance with dance, audio-visual art and public space.

Bodies are floating  along the walls, come through windows and doors, crawl up, let go and float up into the air. UN-retained is a poetic visual story that wants to bring tranquility into a world of constant stimuli. The subtle narrative in images and sound makes us forget time, space and gravity.

Our ongoing Installations & VR program is accessible to everyone and will be open 11am to 11pm, from Thursday 22 to Sunday 26 June.
