Cinedans WEB and Nederlands Dans Theater (NDT) join forces to present this first online film program of materials from the audiovisual archives of NDT. Cinedans WEB is the online platform of Cinedans, celebrating the past, present and future of dance film as a genre and art form.

Let’s go out to the field is part of a larger archival project, unlocking the rich heritage of NDT. The films in this program are situated in a larger context referring to historical moments, materials and persons with an illustrious entanglement to the company. In this program we focus on early cinematographic experiments and the importance of the camera in capturing dance.

This special programme will be available online 10 – 19 December 2021.
